WOW....and not World Of Warcraft either. Actual WOW. If you have played Heavy Rain at all you definitely need to check out the Chronicles.
The first episode is a small investigation that Madison Paige reports at her own risk. Madison is sent to visit a man who is a suspect for the Origami killings and you get to figure the rest out via Heavy Rain physics. Just like the full game, this small episode has multiple scenarios and several endings that can yield plenty of curiosity and exploration. The experience is similar to many of the epic scenes in the main game, but compacted to one heart pounding thrill. You should expect a mild to UBER freak out as you play the game so I suggest taking 15 minute breaks after each 5 minute session. SERIOUSLY. My first play through I started to sweat and eventually I suffered from a heart attack that led to a severe stroke. (Or at least that's what it felt like). The intense action and ridiculous variety that is offered in this little package is definitely worth checking out. The DLC runs for about $5 on the PSN, so if you think it would be worth it, go get some. However, do not expect it to be a long, "side-quest-ish" thing; it isn't. Like I have said, it is a compact yet explosive experience that seemed to last for about five minutes...but that could just be the adrenaline talking. If you loved the game, the intensity of The Taxidermist will be well worth the few bucks.
