Well, this is long over due... While updating stuff on our new site, I stumbled across this old thing and realized I should probably post a redirect to the "real" Fist Full of Potions. If you have reached this blog by mistake, or if you're one of our old fans? Please check out our new site listed below.
We're still alive an' kickin', cranking out video blogs, podcast, articles like they're going out of style!
Do you remember that time? Honestly, it wasn't too long ago. Of course, give a young child today a game from back then, and they'd pass it off as garbage because it's two-dimensional and not "realistic" looking... I could go on about many companies, all the gems that were created, but this iteration will focus on SquareSoft (SquareEnix as of April 1, 2003 - Enix was the other company I was contemplating for this piece, but most people didn't play those games...).
Another week, another stupid post from yours truly. So, you know how last week I told I'd be telling you about that fancy "new" (fake) Nintendo console that hasn't been announced yet? Well, that's not happening now, because I have other things to talk about, and I have 40 games from years past (and years present) to catch up on. No, I'm not joking, it's really 40.
Today while strolling through the sweet, green fields of... wherever this is, I came across an abomination. Its shape was natural enough (at this point I hesitate to make a dick joke, considering just the other day I wept for my lost manhood), but it was a demon to be sure. Pure evil. Not red, though. No no no. It was green. The colour of money and greed, if greed were tangible and colour coded.
