I was exploring the many sections ps3's have under system settings and many various other options and something unexpected happened....
I found a very curious looking option called something like "restore hard drive to default settings". I thought "HEY! I wonder what this does?" So I gave it a shot and tried it out. Ladies and Gentlemen, Sony does not mess around when they mean default. This option expertly sets your playstation back into a perfect default setting. Once I had reactivated my PSN, I felt that I was good to go. So naturally I grabbed Dead Space to begin the evening. WHOA version update! I got bored of waiting so I skipped it and decided to play Battlefield. WHOA version update! Again, I did not wish to wait so I snagged Burnout Paradise. WHOA version update! Then I realized something. All of the game data was removed from the ps3. So its like I have never played any of the games I've conquered in the past 2.5ish years. Sweet Lord thats some legit default action! Needless to say I am no longer working on a platinum...my new quest is to try and find the time to re-beat some of my old games. Any ideas on where I should start? Throw down some titles and lets watch me work my magic!
WKC :P

ReplyDeleteGood thing you love it so much. I'm surprised you didn't back up the saves. Reminds me of one time when I was in Home and some guy asked how to get on the bench... My friend Aura was like... Reformat your Hard Drive, then you can go anywhere. He left to do it. Lulz...
